| CatholicWeb all started when I first got
into building Websites. The only reason I started one was because I thought
it was cool to know how to build one. I took some courses and I had a non-religious
website that really didn't have much - just Message Boards, daily comics,
a guest book, and video game cheats and codes. I did have a lot of visitors,
but I started to notice that I was spending more time on the computer (building
my website) than I was with God. Of course by this time, I was so hooked
on building a website that I didn't think that I could stop. Then the idea
came to me - why not have a religious website so that I was at least using
all of that time for God. And so it began, I went looking around the web
for a really good web hoster. After that, I started building away. Then
I needed a name. I wanted the name to reflect the content. I was building
a Catholic website so I figured that "Catholic" should be in the name so
that you could easily tell the denomination. Just "Catholic" wasn't a good
name so I finally came up with "CatholicWeb" as the best name. (Yes I am
aware that someone also has the name "CatholicWeb" for their website
(www.catholicweb.com), but I am using this name anyway) And here I am with
CatholicWeb - with Message Boards, Polls, a newsletter, Member-only things
and more! But best of all - its all for Jesus!!!
